I would hope that Senator Stephen Horsford is watching the effects of his most recently championed tax increase and thinking, "maybe this corporate tax isn't the smartest way to go?"

I've also noticed in the RJ a lot of people apparently feel that he is largely responsible for the severity of the economic hole everyone is in because of his driving affluent tourists out of the state with the business license increase on non-resident businesses. Crazy as it seems, I think maybe with the 2009 tax increases, maybe it was his intent to make everything worse so that he could force the corporate tax in 2011.

In any case, the fact remains that the only states that aren't really getting completely nailed at the moment are those without a corporate tax and it is a shame that nobody is bringing that up. Having observed their complete failure, I wouldn't think that emulating would be the most prudent economic move.
